ORC Measurement seminar, Cape Town (RSA)


In co-operation with South African Sailing and Royal Cape Yacht Club, ORC and ORC South Africa are offering a two-day comprehensive Measurement Seminar to be held in Cape Town, over Saturday and Sunday, May 20 - 21, 2017, with an introduction presentation on the ORC system made on May 19.

Both events are being held at the Royal Cape Yacht Club and will be led by ORC Chief Rating Officer Zoran Grubisa. All interested measurers, race committee members and sailors are invited to attend to learn more about the ORC rating systemís topics on measurement procedures, data analysis, certificate processing, and race management, both in theory and in practice.

Sunday, 21st May 09:30 Measurement - Part 2 - Inclining and stability
    Short theoretical part followed by practical in water measurements
  13:00 Lunch
  14:00 Analysis of results and processing certificates,
    Scoring options and Race management
  18:00 Expected end
