Abraham Rosemberg suddenly passed away in Brazil

17 August 2017

Abraham "Lincoln" Rosemberg suddenly passed away yesterday in Brasil, apparently for a hearth attack. He was long known as the Brasil representative at the annual meetings, where he had a lively participation in ORC but also in World Sailing Committees and Council.

After graduating in Naval Architecture, he spent a long time serving as an Officer in the Brazilian Navy. In the early 90s he became a measurer, and promoted and developed the IMS system in Brazil for more than two decades. Recently, he worked also for a yard in Santos building and refitting Super Yachts.

Our condolescences go to ABVO which he represented internationally for a long time, and to his family in Rio, wife Cristina, daughter Clara and son Andrew.
