2025 Rolex Big Boat Series - ORC West Coast Championship 2025

With a three-hour-long Bay Tour race as the final test for competitors, the 61st edition of the Rolex Big Boat Series hosted by St. Francis Yacht Club came to a stunning close yesterday afternoon. The skippers at the top of the podium in the J/105 and ORC B classes were awarded coveted Rolex Submariner Dates. Bruce Stone and Nicole Breault’s ARBITRAGE came away victorious among the J/105s, the regatta’s largest fleet, and Peter Wagner’s J/111 SKELETON KEY was the victor in the ORC B division.

The waters of San Francisco Bay are set to come alive with four action-packed days of racing at the 61st edition of the Rolex Big Boat Series, Thursday, September 11, through Sunday, September 14. The regatta, hosted by St. Francis Yacht Club, is renowned for its thrilling competition and beautiful backdrop in one of the sailing world’s most iconic venues.

Registration is now open for the 61st edition of the Rolex Big Boat Series, which also serves as the ORC West Coast Championship 2025. St. Francis Yacht Club invites ORC sailors from across North America to an intense week of competition on San Francisco Bay from September 10-14. The ORC class has become a key part of this prestigious regatta, attracting some of the best sailors and boats to the West Coast.

Three new ORC West Coast Champions were crowned in the 60th edition of the Rolex Big Boat Series: Dave MacEwan’s Rogers 46 LUCKY DUCK in Class A, Drew Freides’s Cape 31 PACIFIC YANKEE in Class B and Zach Berkowitz’s J/100 FEATHER in Class C. For winning Class B, Freides also won a Rolex timepiece for his team’s victory in the 7-race series.
