In accordance with IMS Rule A6 and ORC Superyacht Rule 104 this correction is published and taken with immediate effect. It shall be deemed final unless and until overruled by the ORC Management Committee and Congress. If not objected, it will be included in the next rule revision as well.

The 70th edition of the Tre Golfi Regatta set sail this afternoon at 16:15 from the Bay of Santa Lucia, marking a historic chapter in Italian offshore sailing and the central race of the 2025 Tre Golfi Sailing Week. The event is organized by the Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia in collaboration with the Yacht Club Italiano, the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, IMA, ORC, FIV, and UVAI, with the support of Rolex as Official Timepiece, Loro Piana, and many other technical and institutional partners.
Altea to Host 2026 ORC Double-Handed European Championship

We are pleased to announce that the event will still take place later in the year—remaining on the beautiful waters of Lake Garda, hosted by Acquafresca Sport Center in southern Lake Garda on October 13–18, 2025.

Day two of the ORC Mediterranean Championship, also valid as the ORC National Championship for Central and Southern Italy and the opening event of the 2025 Tre Golfi Sailing Week, brought another rewarding day of racing between Sorrento and Capri. Ideal conditions for racing, with a steady westerly breeze ranging from 7 to 10 knots, and the Race Committee made the most of it, running three more races to bring the total to four.

The third day of the Sandberg PalmaVela regatta on the Bay of Palma saw a change of leader in four classes. After a postponement on shore waiting for the breeze to build, at 1300hrs the more than 100 teams from 19 countries competing in this edition docked out at the Real Club Náutico de Palma.

Ten new classes joined the action on Day 2, bringing the total to 11 divisions for this edition. Three racecourses and over a hundred yachts filled the Bay of Palma, where light and unstable winds kept both the Race Committee and the fleet on their toes until the very end. With winds proving too light in fact three classes will actually have to wait until tomorrow to make their debut.
Offshore Racing Season Kicks Off at MAIOR 2025 in Kiel!

The Baltic offshore racing season gets underway this weekend with MAIOR – the Mai Offshore Regatta – held annually in early May in the Strander Bucht near Kiel. From May 2–4, 35 teams from Germany, Denmark, and Sweden will line up to battle for early-season glory under the ORC rating rule.

After more than 37 hours of sailing, the offshore regatta of the 21st Sandberg PalmaVela came to an end this Monday, with victories for “Trifork” in IRC, “Azahar” in ORC 0, “Xummer” in ORC 1, “Alegría” in ORC 2-3, “Indigo” in ORC 4-5, “Modul” in ORC A2 0-2, and “Guaguanco IV” in ORC A2 3-4.
