The Espoo-Naissaari Race, held from 6 to 8 June 2025, brought together 17 double-handed offshore teams for a 143-nautical-mile course between Haukilahti in Espoo and Pentala Island. This year, the event also served as the Finnish ORC Double-Handed Championship, with national titles awarded in two classes: ORC A and ORC B.

The 72nd edition of the Loro Piana Giraglia, the oldest offshore regatta in the Mediterranean, opened with the registration on Thursday, 5 June. The 52nd edition of the Trofeo Conde de Godó BMW crowned its champions after a thrilling final day, which featured the last two races of the event. The 2024 edition of the Skagen Race began on Wednesday, May 28, from Holmestrand, marking the start of a special offshore challenge - the Raymarine ORC Doublehanded Norwegian Championship. Organized by Bærum Seilforening and hosted from Holmestrand Seilforening, this year’s race brings together over 40 double-handed teams competing in a single ORC class.

The 43rd edition of the Copa del Rey MAPFRE will see a strong presence from the Spanish Navy, which will deploy a four-boat squadron across multiple classes, reaffirming its long-standing ties to high-performance sailing.

The Real Club Náutico de Barcelona is preparing for a grand celebration as it kicks off the 52nd edition of the Trofeo Conde de Godó BMW, taking place from May 29 to June 1. This year, the regatta will feature nearly one hundred boats, a milestone achieved by the organizers that reflects the growing interest in this high-level cruising event.

In accordance with IMS Rule A6 and ORC Superyacht Rule 104 this correction is published and taken with immediate effect. It shall be deemed final unless and until overruled by the ORC Management Committee and Congress. If not objected, it will be included in the next rule revision as well.

This year’s Tre Golfi Sailing Week edition marked a historic milestone with the debut of the IMA Tre Golfi Multihull Trophy, raced under the ORC Multihull Rule — a first for the event and for large multihulls in ORC-rated competition.

The offshore leg of the 70th Regata dei Tre Golfi crowns To Be, the Italia Yachts 11.98 from Yacht Club Italiano, as the new ORC Mediterranean Champion

The 70th edition of the Tre Golfi Regatta set sail this afternoon at 16:15 from the Bay of Santa Lucia, marking a historic chapter in Italian offshore sailing and the central race of the 2025 Tre Golfi Sailing Week. The event is organized by the Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia in collaboration with the Yacht Club Italiano, the Reale Yacht Club Canottieri Savoia, IMA, ORC, FIV, and UVAI, with the support of Rolex as Official Timepiece, Loro Piana, and many other technical and institutional partners.

The Offshore Racing Congress (ORC), in collaboration with Altea Sailing Club (Club Náutico Altea – CN Altea), is happy to welcome double-handed sailing teams to the 2026 ORC Double-Handed European Championship, taking place in Altea, Spain, from March 1–7, 2026. The fourth edition of this ORC title event will be sailed in conjunction with the Mediterranean’s most iconic winter regatta – 200 Millas a2, celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2026.

The 2025 ORC Sportboat European Championship, originally scheduled for May at Circolo Vela Torbole on Lake Garda, has been cancelled. We are pleased to announce that the event will still take place later in the year—remaining on the beautiful waters of Lake Garda, hosted by Acquafresca Sport Center in southern Lake Garda on October 13–18, 2025.

The inshore portion of the ORC Mediterranean Championship 2025 concluded today off the coast of Sorrento after three days of windward-leeward racing in ideal conditions. CONFLUENCE Leads ORC Mediterranean Championship After Inshore Series. Tre Golfi Sailing Week delivered spectacular action, forming the opening phase of a two-part championship that will resume with a 150-mile offshore challenge next Friday.

Day two of the ORC Mediterranean Championship, also valid as the ORC National Championship for Central and Southern Italy and the opening event of the 2025 Tre Golfi Sailing Week, brought another rewarding day of racing between Sorrento and Capri. Ideal conditions for racing, with a steady westerly breeze ranging from 7 to 10 knots, and the Race Committee made the most of it, running three more races to bring the total to four.
