Porto Cervo bid farewell in the best possible way to the more than 1,800 sailors taking part in the 23rd edition of the Rolex Swan Cup, with a perfect day of racing under clear skies and a north-easterly breeze building from an initial eight knots to 12.

The Mistral set the tone once again for the third and penultimate day of racing at the 23rd Rolex Swan Cup, blowing at 16 knots for the opening starts and reaching 22 knots, with gusts of 25, during the closing stages on the windward-leeward course. As the coastal race neared the finish, the Swan 128 Rajin reached a speed of 18 knots on a broad reach with a 22-knot wind.

The Multihull Cup celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2026, bringing an exceptional collection of performance multihulls back to Port Adriano, Mallorca from 25 – 27 September.

Swan One Design classes complete up to three windward-leeward races. Race around the islands of the La Maddalena Archipelago in ideal conditions for all remaining classes.

Racing for Rolexes, Perpetual Trophies & ORC Championship Titles at St. Francis Yacht Club, September 16-20, 2026

The first day of racing at the 23rd Rolex Swan Cup began early this morning as the quays in front of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda came alive with the bustling crews of the 170 yachts gathered in Porto Cervo.

A total of 170 yachts have flocked to Porto Cervo, from the very first Swan ever built to the new Swan 128 and Swan 80 designs. Racing gets underway on 16 September, and concludes on Saturday, 19 September 2026.

Leopard 3 claims the Rolex IMA Maxi 1 World Championship; Northstar III the Rolex IMA Maxi Grand Prix World Championship. Artemis Bleu, Yoru, H2O and Highland Fling XVIII take class honours.

The 36th edition of the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, organised by the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda in collaboration with the International Maxi Association and with the support of title sponsor Rolex, officially gets underway today with the Skippers’ Briefing scheduled for 6 p.m. on the YCCS terrace, followed at 7 p.m. by the Welcome Cocktail. Racing will begin tomorrow, Monday 7 September, with the first signal scheduled for 12 noon CEST, and the event concludes on Saturday 12 September with the prize-giving ceremony in Piazza Azzurra.

ORC joins Norway and the sailing world in mourning the loss of H.M. King Harald V, who served for decades as Honorary Chairman of our organization, following many years in the same role at World Sailing, then known as IYRU.

The Offshore Racing Congress is pleased to share the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda’s announcement that the historic Settimana delle Bocche will return to the Club’s sporting calendar in 2027. The event will take place from 26 April to 1 May as part of the YCCS’s 60th anniversary celebrations.
