6 months to ORC Worlds 2025 Tallinn! Early Bird discount until April 1!

February 10, 2025 - Tallinn, Estonia - Exactly six months from now, on Monday, August 11, 2025, the first stage of the 2025 ORC World Championship – the long offshore race in the Gulf of Finland – will start in Tallinn. Returning to Tallinn for the second time, the ORC Worlds is the pinnacle event of the Offshore Racing Congress this year, bringing the best ORC sailors from Northern Europe, the Baltic region, and beyond to Tallinn, Estonia from August 8–16.
Tallinn – ORC Worlds and a city of sailing heritage
After the success of the ALEXELA ORC Worlds 2021, which hosted 104 yachts from 14 countries, Kalev Yacht Club and the Tallinn Olympic Sailing Center are excited to welcome sailors back for the 2025 edition. In 2025, Tallinn celebrates its rich sailing heritage, marking 45 years since the 1980 Olympic Sailing Regatta, making this event even more special. Also, Tallinn is the European Capital of Sport 2025.

Entry Eligibility and Classes
The event is open to all boats with a valid 2025 ORC International certificate and a CDL between 8.000 and 16.400. The flotation date on the ORC International certificate shall not be earlier than August 8, 2020.
Classes are defined by CDL as follows:
- Class 0: 16.400 ≥ CDL > 13.550
- Class A: 13.550 ≥ CDL > 11.270
- Class B: 11.270 ≥ CDL > 9.630
- Class C: 9.630 ≥ CDL > 8.000
Racing Format
The ORC Worlds 2025 Tallinn will feature a mix of offshore and inshore racing:
- 1 long offshore race (30–36 hours for the slowest boat)
- 3 days of windward-leeward races
- 1 coastal race (10–12 hours for the slowest boat)
Alongside the racing, sailors can look forward to a vibrant social program, including the opening ceremony, daily prize-giving, a sailors’ party and dinner, and a grand closing ceremony.

World Titles and Prizes
The best boat in each class will be awarded the ORC World Champion title.
Prizes will be awarded to:
- The top three boats in each class
- The best Corinthian teams (all-amateur crews)
- The best female teams in each class
