A big thank you to Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia and Club Nautico Della Vela

5 January 2026 - In mid-December, the Offshore Racing Congress (ORC) held its annual staff meeting in Naples, graciously hosted by Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia (CRVI). Over three productive days, the ORC team gathered for technical meetings and in-depth discussions, setting the course for the 2026 season and the many ORC-supported events taking place around the world.

During our stay, we had the honour of being welcomed to a wonderful dinner hosted by CRVI, as well as lunches hosted by Club Nautico Della Vela. These moments of hospitality provided the perfect setting for exchanging ideas and strengthening ties within the ORC community.

We were especially pleased to hear Vice President Maurizio Pavesi of CRVI share insights into the preparations for hosting the ORC World Championship 2026, which will be held in conjunction with the historic 71st edition of the Regata dei Tre Golfi in Sorrento in May.

A heartfelt thank you to Circolo del Remo e della Vela Italia and Club Nautico Della Vela for their warm welcome and outstanding hospitality. The ORC staff truly looks forward to returning to Italy for the ORC World Championship 2026.
