In 2025, the ORC Rating Systems continued their global expansion, with more than 14,000 certificates issued to nearly 9,700 boats across 45 countries — a 5% increase compared to 2024.
The report also features detailed coverage of this year’s World and Continental Championships, including the Garmin ORC Worlds 2025 in Tallinn, the Double-Handed Worlds in Monfalcone, the European Championship in Palma, and Double-Handed European Championship in Helsinki – each showcasing competitive fleets and outstanding race management.
Technological progress remains a key focus for ORC. The Weather Routing Scoring (WRS) system — developed in cooperation with PredictWind — was successfully used at major offshore events worldwide.
