ORC Staff Meeting 2023 - Trieste, Italy

On December 10-11, approximately twenty members of the ORC staff convened in Trieste, Italy, for one of their annual gatherings.

The ORC staff is the driving force behind the world's most extensive measurement-based handicapping system. At the core of our mission, this dedicated team ensures accessibility, functionality, and relevance for boat owners, sailors, race organizers, and users worldwide.

Our dynamic team, equipped with expertise in administration, IT support, measurement, database management, VPP programming, communication, and more, collaborates in specialized groups to translate Congress' decisions into actionable rules, policies and the best possible events for both the sailors and the organizers.

Working in tandem with the ORC Management Committee team, the meetings aim to articulate goals, outline action plans, and determine responsibilities for the upcoming period.
