RHINO Team Claims Victory at the Lithuanian ORC Offshore Sailing Championship 2026
17 June 2026 - Klaipeda, Lithuania - From June 11 to 14, 2026, the Lithuanian ORC Offshore Sailing Championship took place, bringing together the country's offshore sailors to compete in five windward-leeward races and one coastal navigation race for the Palanga Mayor's Cup.

The overall championship title was claimed by the crew of RHINO (Skipper Saulius Pajarskas), who won all five windward-leeward races and finished third in the navigation race. Second and third places overall went to the crews of TE KYLA (Skipper Algirdas Žižys) and IDEFIX (Skipper Tomas Barakauskas), respectively.

In the Palanga Mayor's Cup offshore race, the crew of TE KYLA took first place, followed by IDEFIX and RHINO.

All three podium-finishing teams are now preparing to compete at the ORC European Championship, which will be held in Klaipėda on 7-15 August. The Lithuanian ORC Championship served as an excellent opportunity to fine-tune boat performance, crew coordination, and racing tactics ahead of what will be the most significant offshore sailing event in the Baltic region this summer.
