Storm Trysail and US Sailing host ORC Race Management Seminar
The Storm Trysail Club, in partnership with US Sailing and ORC, will host a Race Management Webinar focused on ORC racing for the 2026 season in the USA and Canada. This will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at 7:30 PM EDT/4:30 PM PDT.
This educational session is designed to provide best-practice guidance for race organizers, race committees, and sailing offices who are managing ORC racing at the local, regional, and championship levels.
Participants will gain practical insights into course selection, scoring options, event preparation, and race administration from experienced race management professionals.
The webinar will include a one-hour presentation followed by 30 minutes of live Q&A with the presenters.

- Selecting appropriate race types and handicap configurations
- Course design considerations (Windward/Leeward, Coastal, Offshore)
