The 2025 ORC Sportboat European Championship, originally scheduled for May at Circolo Vela Torbole on Lake Garda, has been cancelled. After careful consideration, this decision was made jointly by ORC and Circolo Vela Torbole.
We are pleased to announce that the event will still take place later in the year—remaining on the beautiful waters of Lake Garda, but moving to a new venue and date.
The 2025 ORC Sportboat European Championship will now be hosted by Acquafresca Sport Center in southern Lake Garda on October 13–18, 2025.
The Notice of Race and registration will be published shortly. Stay tuned for updates!
Acquafresca Sport Center is a sports center located in the locality of the same name in the Municipality of Brenzone, on Lake Garda. It is best known for exciting sailing adventures and water sports such as kitesurfing, sailing, windsurfing, stand-up paddling, and canoeing.
Thanks to its strategic location, which allows for optimal use of both the northern wind Pelèr and the southern breeze Ora, the center also offers a wide range of other sports activities, both on water and on land. In fact, the facility includes football and volleyball fields.
The Association has over 700 members and is affiliated with several national sports federations.

Update on the ORC Sportboat European Championship 2025

ORC Sportboat European Championship 2025 – The Sportboat Fleet Gathers in May at Circolo Vela Torbole

The ORC Sportboat European Championship will take place in Torbole from May 11 to 17, 2025. The event, set in one of the most renowned sailing venues thanks to its exceptional weather conditions, will be organized by Circolo Vela Torbole and the Offshore Racing Congress (ORC).

The Offshore Racing Congress (ORC) is thrilled to announce that the ORC Double Handed World Championship 2025 has been awarded to Yacht Club Monfalcone in Italy, while the ORC Sportboat European Championship 2025 will be hosted by Yacht Club Torbole on Lake Garda, Italy.
