Johan Tuvstedt Appointed as International Measurer for ORC
19 November 2024 - The Offshore Racing Congress proudly announces that Johan Tuvstedt from Sweden has been officially appointed as a World Sailing International Measurer (IM) for the ORC class. This prestigious recognition follows his approval by the Race Officials Committee during the 2024 World Sailing Annual Conference. Johan brings a wealth of expertise to this role. A dedicated yacht racer, he is passionate about shorthanded sailing, race organization, and technical oversight. He has been a regular member of the Technical Committee at multiple ORC Championships in Europe and the USA. In Sweden, Johan has served for over a decade on the Technical Committee of the Swedish Sailing Federation, where he has also held the role of Chief Measurer. As the longtime chair of the Swedish Offshore Association (SHF.NU), Johan is a key figure in the Swedish offshore racing community and an active participant in several ORC committees. When not engaged in racing or event organization, Johan and his wife, Lotta, enjoy cruising the Baltic Sea on their X-362 Sport.
With this appointment, Johan joins the group of International Measurers approved for the ORC class, including:

- Pablo Ferrer Puig, Spain
- Michael Quist, Denmark
- Alberto Pindozzi, Italy
