The 2025 ORC Sportboat European Championship will be held over 11-17 May 2025 in one of the world's most iconic small boat sailing venues: Lago di Garda, Italy. The Circolo Vela Torbole in cooperation with ORC has just issued their Notice of Race and invitation to enter.

Organizers of the annual Southern Ocean Racing Conference (SORC), the premier ORC-scored winter offshore race series in the US, have announced that due to ongoing weather challenges in central Florida, they have made the difficult decision to cancel and replace this year’s St. Petersburg to Lauderdale Race, originally scheduled for November 20th.

The inaugural South African ORC Double-Handed Championship will be held on 19-20 October 2024. The Championship will be staged as a single offshore race, known as the Canyon Cup 100, with an intended course of 100 miles.

The team which has virtually dominated J Class racing since they joined the fleet early in 2022, had originally made winning this prestigious regatta - which has been sailed at the heart of the 37th America's Cup arena - as one of their primary goals from the outset.

The winners of the Barcelona Superyacht Regatta 2024 were: V, followed by Jasi and Nefertiti in the Performance Class. In the Cruiser Class, Halekai took the grand prize, followed by Esense and Fidelis.

These three teams demonstrated an exceptional level of preparation, practice and eventual execution to prevail after six days of intense inshore and offshore racing among the 43 entries with top-level sailors from throughout the United States and around the globe.
